3. Các từ đi kèm với thì hiện tại thường:

*Các trạng từ tần xuất:
Always, usually, often, sometimes,…….
*Vị trí: Đứng sau chủ ngữ, trước động từ thường, đứng sau tobe, đứng sau trợ động từ.
2.Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn
(The present continuous tense)
1. Công thức:
(+) S + is/ am/ are + V-ing…………
(-) S + is/ am/ are + not + V-ing……
(?) Is/ Am/ Are + S + V-ing……….?
-Yes, S + is/ am/ are.
-No, S +is/ am/ are + not.

2-Các từ đi kèm:
now / at present / at the moment .
Động từ chỉ giác quan thính giác: look / listen
 
 
 
3.Thì tương lai thường
(The simple future tense)
1-Công thức:
(+) S + will + V-inf......................
(-) S + won’t + V-inf..................
(?) Will + S + V-inf....................?
-Yes, S + will.
-No, S + won’t.
Notes: I, we : will.
You, they, she, he, it : will.
 
2-Các từ đi kèm:
-tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, in the future.
4.THÌ QUÁ KHỨ ĐƠN
SIMPLE PAST TENSE
 
1.Thì quá khứ thường với động từ thường:
(+) S + V-ed / V-p1………….
(-) S + didn’t + V-inf……….
(?) Did + S + V-inf…………?
-Yes, S + did.
-No, S + didn’t.
Notes: V-ed : là động từ có quy tắc.
V-p1: là động từ bất quy tắc (phải học thuộc)
 
2-Thì quá khứ thường với động từ Tobe:

Tobe : was, were

(+) S + was/ were + adj/ N.
(-) S + wasn’t/ weren’t + adj/ N.
(?) Was/ Were + S + adj/ N ?
-Yes, S + was/ were.
-No, S + wasn’t/ weren’t.

3-Cách thêm đuôi ed vào sau động từ:
-Thông thường ta thêm ed vào sau động từ thường.
VD: work--> Worked
- Động từ kết thúc bằng e ta chỉ thêm d.
VD: live --> lived
-Động từ kết thúc bằng y:
.Nếu trước y là nguyên âm thì thêm ed:
VD: play-->played
.Nếu trước y là phụ âm thì đổi y-->i rồi thêm ed
VD: study-->studied.
-Động từ kết thúc bằng 1 phụ âm mà trước nó là 1 nguyên âm duy nhất thì nhân đôi phụ âm sau đó thêm đuôi ed.
VD: Stop-->stopped
*Động từ bất quy tắc phải học thuộc lòng.
4-Cách đọc đuôi ed:
/-ed/: d, t VD: wanted, needed.
 
/-t/: k, f, p, ce, ch, sh, s, x.
VD: watched, washed, practiced.
 
/-d/ : các âm còn lại
VD: raised, opened.
 
5 -Các từ đi kèm :
Yesterday, last week/ month/ year/ summer/ night……., ago, in 1991

Nhóm những động từ sau vào cột có phát âm đuôi –ed theo đúng cột:
Wanted, practised, agreed, needed, washed, watched, played, planted, earned, missed, visited, liked, raised, collected, wrapped, worked.
