1.Forms
a. Statements: Câu kể
S + said/ told O + (that) + S + V(lùi thì) ……..
b. Yes/ No questions
Ex: Tom said: “I am a student”.
→ Tom said that he was a student
Ex: Tom asked: “Do you live here?”
→ Tom asked me if I lived there.
c. Wh/ H questions:
Ex: Tom asked me: “Where do you live now?”
→ Tom asked me where I lived then.
S +asked (O) + if/ whether + S + V (lùi thì)…..
S +asked (O) + Wh-word+ S + V (lùi thì)…..
2. Rewrite the following sentences in reported speech. (BT2)
1. `We will visit you this week,` my parents told me.



2. Our teacher asked us, `What are you most worried about?`

3. Question words before to-infinitive
Ex: “She doesn’t know who she should contact”.
→ She doesn’t know who to contact.
