II.Prepositions of time ( giới từ chỉ thời gian )
1.AT : được dùng cho:“giờ",  
e.g. : at two o’clock (lúc 2 giờ); at six a.m. (lúc 6 giờ sáng)
Ngoại lệ: at night (về đêm), at Christmas (vào lễ Giáng Sinh), at / on weekends (vào ngày cuối tuần), at bed time / lunchtime/ dinner time (vào giờ ngủ / ăn trưa/ ăn tối)
2.ON : được dùng cho :
Thứ (on Tuesday),/ ngày + tháng( on May 1st ), thứ + ngày + tháng
( on Monday, May 2"d,)...
- “buổi của ngày trong tuần  e.g.: on Monday morning (vào sáng Thứ Hai), on Sunday afternoon (vào trưa Chủ nhật),...
3.IN : được dùng cho :
- "tháng, năm, mùa, thế kỉ,...",  e.g.: in May ; in 1998, in summer,...
- "khoảng thời gian của ngày".   e.g : in the morning / afternoon/ evening.
* Lưu ý : Chúng ta không dùng IN, ON, AT với : next, last, every, today, yesterday, tomorrow.

4. Before ( trước ) + giờ : before 6 a.m
5. After ( sau ) + giờ : after 6 p.m
6.Between.........and .......: between 9 a.m to 10 a.m
7. From ( từ )............to/till/ up to ( đến ).............: from 9 a.m to 10 a.m

III. Adverd clause of result ( mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ kết quả )
Ex.: The Parkers are nice, so Van feels like a member of their family
It’s a very fine day , so we decide to go for a picnic.
He’s sick , so he can’t go to school.

“So + S + V.....” Là mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ kết quả
So : vì thế / vì vậy
