S BE + Past Participle + by O (passive)
Ex: Lan ate a cake.(Active)
=> A cake was eaten by Lan. (Passive)
Chú ý: past participle = V(ed/ 3)
1. Prepositions (giới từ): at, on, in, after, till,….
a. Thể bị động thì hiện tại đơn (The passive voice in simple present tense)
REVISION
S + am / is /are + V(ed/ 3) + by O.
Ex: He opens the door. → The door is opened by him.
b. Thể bị động thì quá khứ đơn (The passive voice in simple past tense)
S + was/ were + V(ed/ 3) + by O.
Ex: She wrote some letters to me.→ Some letters were written to me.
c. Thể bị động thì Hiện tại hoàn thành (The passive voice in present perfect tense)
S + have/ has + been + V(ed/ 3) + by O.
Ex: We have just finished our homework.
→ Our homework has just been finished by us.
d. Thể bị động với động từ khiếm khuyết (The passive voice with Modal verbs )
S + Modal verb + be + V(ed/ 3) + by O.
Ex: I can do this work .→ This work can be done by me.
