Comparision of adjectives and adverbs: Review
Ex: This hotel is cheaper than that one.
Equality: as + adj/adv + as
Ex: Peter is as intelligent as his father.
Comparatives
Short form: adj/adv +er than
Long form: more + adj/adv than
Ex: This is the most expensive car I’ve ever seen.
Ex: Lan can speak English more fluently than me (I can).
Superlatives
Short form: the + adj/adv + est ...in/of .....
Ex: She is the tallest girl in this class/ of the four girls.
Long form: the + most adj/adv ...in/of .....

Three months later, she saw an advertisement in the paper for a sales assistant at a department store. She thought it over carefully, and decided to apply for it. ‘But I won`t tell anyone until I`ve got the new job!` she thought. The prospect of doing something different cheered her up considerably.
