VSTEP SPEAKING Part II
In Vstep (CB2) speaking part 2, there are three subparts:
1/ Paraphrasing (Diễn giải lại 3 lựa chọn).
2/ Discuss the disadvantages of the other choices and then discuss the advantages of the item you choose. (Thảo luận những bất lợi của 2 mục đầu và sự thuận lợi của ý mình chọn).
3/ Confirm your choice. (Khẳng định ý mình chọn)



FORMAT
Well, before I have to choose among three options: …………………., let’s talk about all of them.
Firstly, …...
Secondly, …...
Finally, …...
For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose …... as the best choice for me.
Situation 5: You have a Sunday evening out with your friends. There are three suggestions: seeing a movie, going shopping or singing karaoke. Which one would you choose?
Answer:
Well, before I have to choose among three options: watching a movie, going shopping or singing karaoke, let’s talk about all of them.









Firstly, seeing a movie is a good idea. However, we often like different kinds of films. The films I like may be the films my friends don’t like. Secondly, I don’t choose singing karaoke because I’m not good at singing. It will be not interesting if there is a person who cannot enjoy the whole atmosphere of the group.
Finally, you know, I am a big fan of shopping. We can spend much time and money on collecting some favorite items such as handbags, shoes, clothes… It is so exciting to go to a supermarket and buy some favorite things at weekend.







For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose going shopping is the most ideal choice for me and my friends in a Sunday evening.
