Special rules:

1. be + I = are : I am your teacher, aren’t I ?
2. let’s + V, the tag is ‘‘shall we?’’ :
ex: Let’s go to the cinema, shall we?
3. with imperatives, the tag is ‘‘ will you?’’
ex: Sit down, will you?
4. with nobody, never, hardly, seldom,… the tag is positive.
ex: nobody understood, did they?
5. – with “Everyone, someone, anyone, no one, nobody…” : the tag question is : , “ ….they ?”
Ex:     1. Somebody wanted a drink, didn’t they ?
      2. Nobody phoned, did they ?
6. S + ought to…….., shouldn’t ?
7. S + has to/have to………, doesn’t/ don’t ?
8. S + used to V, didn’t + S?
