You have arranged to meet a friend next week, but
you have realized that you will not be able to go.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
- Cancel the meeting with your friend and apologize.
- Explain why you can't be able to meet your friend.
- Suggest where and when you could see each other
instead.
You should write at least 120 words. Your response
will be evaluated in terms of Task Fulfillment,
Organization, Vocabulary and Grammar.

Dear Mai,
Long time no see. How are you doing these days?
It is a pity that next week I am very busy. Therefore, I can
not meet you as we have agreed. My teacher tells me that
we will have a test next week. It is such an important test
that I cannot be absent from the class.
By the way, in my opinion, we will meet each other in the
week after that. Will you be free then? I suggest that we
meet in the library of our university. Then we will enjoy
some thing in the canteen. I hope you will agree with me.
I am looking forward to meeting you soon in the future to
talk more about this issue.

can do many things at home and I do not have to work. I
usually get up late. After I have my breakfast, I walk in the
park with my dog. I talk to my neighbors. Sometimes I drink
coffee with them. Then I go home and have lunch at noon.
After lunch I take a nap. Then I wake up and watch a film.
Sometimes I may sing karaoke. Late in the afternoon, I may
work in the garden: I water my flowers and take care of
them. After dinner, I may watch a football match. I go to bed
at ten.
I am looking forward to meeting you soon in the future to
talk more about this issue.

Dear Long,
Long time no sees. How do you do?
I am having a great time with my family during the holiday in
Hue. Hue is my husband's hometown. We went home to visit
my husband's family. Meeting my mother-in-law and siblings
again after 1 year was very emotional and it brought back
many memories. We had Hue food, played folk games, which
we never had in HCMC, because this place still retains the
identity of the countryside. The atmosphere here is great,
fresh, cool, clean. There is no noise and dust like in the city.
There is no thing more beautiful and meaningful than
returning home on a holiday. Hopefully, you will have the
opportunity to come to Hue, my hometown.
I am looking forward to meeting you in Hue.
