Topic 11: Spend time outside

There are many benefits of spending time outside
such as promoting public health, building a
stronger community and providing a natural play
area for children.
First of all, spending time outdoors especially in
a natural environment may make people healthier.
It can reduce their stress and pressure. They can
enjoy fresh air and improve their lifestyle.
Second, when people stay outside, they meet each
other, know each other and understand each
other better. The community is stronger.

Finally, spending time outside is necessary for
children. Children have chance to apply their
knowledge from school to real life. I think it is a
good lesson for children.
In conclusion, for some reasons mentioned
above, I believe that spending time outside is a
good way for everyone to make their life more
and more comfortable.

+ Where do you often spend time outside?
When I have free time, I often spend time in the
park. I take a walk a enjoy fresh air. Sometimes, I
ride my bicycle with my friends to the
countryside. How wonderful our journey is!

+ What do you do when you spend time outside?
I walk in the park and talk to my neighbors. Then
I can understand them more and make our
friendship closer.

+ How is it beneficial for children spending time
outside?
When I walk outside, I often take my children.
Then they have a good chance to make
acquaintance with my neighbors' children so
that they can play with them. It is also good for
them to be close to the nature.
