Pronunciatio
/s/ là một phụ âm vô thanh. Hãy để mặt lưỡi chạm
nhẹ vào răng

nghe thấy tiếng luồng khí thoát ra, không làm rung
dây thanh khi phát âm. Ta có: /s/

có thể được đọc là /s/.
Ex :cats /kæts/, books /bʊks/, cups /kʌps/

2. Cách phát âm âm /z/
/z/ là một phụ âm hữu thanh. Phát âm tương tự với âm /s/, để m
lưỡi chạm nhẹ vào răng cửa trên, đẩy luồng khí thoát ra giữa mặ
lưỡi và răng cửa trên sao cho các em nghe thấy tiếng luồng khí
thoát ra, nhưng không mạnh bằng âm /s/, rung dây thanh trong
cổ họng. Ta có: /z/ 
Chữ cái "s" được thêm vào cuối danh từ số nhiều có thể được đọ
là /z/.
