large ethnic group in the Central Highlands of Việt Nam. They
speak the Êđê language. They live in long houses and they make
their houses from bamboo and wood. The Êđê people wear
traditional clothes in dark colours with white, red and yellow
patterns. Their most important festival is the Lúa Mới Festival
(the New Rice Festival). It takes place before the Lunar New Year
and they pray for good weather for their crops.
