II. STRUCTURES: The past progressive tense.
1. Usage: Thì quá khứ tiếp diễn diễn tả một hành động , 1 sự việc đang xảy ra tại 1 thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ. Thường đi với các trạng từ : at this time/ at that time/ at……o’ clock last night / yesterday.
2. Form.
Example: Lan was doing her homework at 8 o’ clock last night.
( +) : S + was/ were + V-ing + O.
( -) : S + was/ were + not + V- ing + O.
( ?) : Was/ Were + S + V- ing + O ?
- Yes, S + was/ were.
- No, S + was/ were + not.
