Eari Woods: Tiger’s father, an American army officer and keen golfer.
Cypress: a place in California. Tiger’s birthplace.
Kultilda Woods: Tiger’s mother, from Thailand.
Jeff Binns: a gold commentator, an admirer of Tiger.
Eldrick Woods: Tiger’s real name: born 30.12.75, played golf from an early age. Youngest ever junior champion in 1991, youngest ever US Masters champion in 1997.
Bill Clinton: President of the United States. Called Tiger up to congratulate him.
Augusta, Georgia: place where Tiger won the US Masters.
Nike: a sports company. Offered Tiger a $40 million contract.
