I. Although/Even though/Though
Although/Even though/Though + S + V….., S + V…
Usage: They used to express a contract.
Even though is more emphatic.
Common mistake:
Although it is sunny, but he feels cold.
Example 1 :
Lan still came to visit me.She was very busy.
Lan still came to visit me although she was very busy.
Example 2 :
It rains. Lan goes to school.
Although it rains, Lan goes to school.
Example 3 :
She tried to finish the report. She was tired.
She tried to finish the report although she was tired.
