Relative clauses
A. Conditional sentence of type 2:
I. Read and remember: Ex1a
If + S + V(past)., S + would + V(bare inf).
(Be: were/was)
(Could)
Form:
If + S + V(past)., S + would + V(bare inf).
Example:
Peter has such a lot of English homework that he won’t go to the party.
→ If Peter didn’t have such a lot of English homework, he would go to the party.
(Be: were/was)
?Does Peter go to the party? Why?
A - Conditional sentence of type 2
→ No. Because he has a lot of English homework.
(Unreal in present /Future)
