S (things) + make + sb + adj (V-ed)
Ex: The ghost in this film makes me horrified.
S (people) + find + sth+ adj (V-ing)
Ex: I find the ghost horrifying.
Exercise 3: Complete two sentences for each situation. Use an adjective ending –ing or –ed form of the verb in brackets.
1. It’s been raining all day. I hate this weather. (depress)

2. Astronomy is one of Tan’s main interests. (interest)

Usage:
It is used to emphasize the time of the beginning of an action or an event,..
Rule:
Noun
It was not until+ Noun-phrase (time in past) that S+V(ed/pii).

Eg2: It was not until the early 20th century that smart phones were best-selling.

3.Articles: A, An, The :
*Usage:
a/an is used to modify a singular countable Noun which we mention at the first time.
 The is used to refer to definite Noun which is mentioned before.
We call a/an as the indefinite article and  
the as the definite article.
+ An : is used with a word beginning in a vowel
sound (/a/, /u/, /i/ , /o/ , /e/ and silent h / / )

+ A : is used with a word starting with a consonant sound.
E.g. a sandwich,
Indefinite articles (mạo từ không xác định): a, an.
E.g. an hour, an officer
* Note: All words beginning with un, we must use article “a” to modify. Eg: a university, a uniform…
Rules:
Definite article (mạo từ xác định): “the” is used before a noun which is definite (đứng trước danh từ xác định).
E.g. I have a dog and a cat. The dog is black and the cat is white.
