TOPIC:
It is better for college students to live in schools than live at home with their parents. Do you agree or disagree?
Many students are faced with the dilemma of whether to live in a university dormitory or at home with their parents. From my perspective, a dormitory is evidently the better option for most students with by some following reasons: being mature, good abilities of solving problems, and better access to resources.
The first benefit of living in a dormitory is to help you to become more mature. Without parents, you will know how to prepare your meals, what to eat and how to eat for good health. You will also know how to study and work so as not to affect your health. And when you are sick, you can go to the doctor or buy medicine yourself. Moreover, you will know how to spend properly because your parents` monthly or weekly payments have been fixed. If you want to spend on your hobbies, you will know how to find a part-time job, and that is extremely beneficial for you. All of which will help you grow as a person.
When you are with your parents, all your problems will be solved by your parents, or you will solve them with their help. But when you live in a college dorm, you`ll solve all your problems yourself. You get criticized by a teacher, you have a conflict with friends, you have to decide on a certain course. Everyday things that you can`t call back and ask your parents for help. You will find ways and solve everything. Especially in love, you will have to decide for yourself, of course sometimes you will get some advice from friends. But often you will listen to the choice of the heart. These things will not only help you be able to solve problems better, but also help you to be more responsible for yourself.
The final benefit of living in a dormitory is that you can easily access the resources. If you live on campus, you will have easy access to information from the library, or other academic information whenever you want. On the other hand, living in a dormitory, you will meet people from different regions, different backgrounds, you will learn from them what is good and will draw life experiences for yourself. Living here will help you to receive resources easily and learn many good things from everyone.
In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned before, I think you should live in the university dorm. I strongly believe that adapting to university life instead of being at home would bring real benefits for you to remain high in the future.
