I. Definition
Stress is the emotional and physical strain
caused by our response to pressure from
the outside world.
Some signs of stress:
Feeling nervous, sad and angry
Headache
Feeling tired or having trouble sleeping
II.Causes of Students’ stress
1. Study pressure
2. Financial problem
3. Relationship
Study pressure
- High objective
- Overloaded assignments, examination lack of time, lack of sleep
When we are so hopeful, we are easier disappointed.
Running with time
Financial problem:
So many necessary items of expenditure
Spending money unreasonably
Have no family’s adequate supply of money
Relationship:
- Love
- Friend
- Family
III. Effects of stress:
Negative effects:
Health
Psychology
Study
Positive effects:
Health
Brain: less flexible
Heart: heart diseases
Lungs: breath fast, not deep
Eyes: reduce vision
Skin: less smooth
Back & neck: pain
Gastric: indigestion, stomach upset
Psychology:
Risk of spiritual illness
Anger take wisdom
Negative action: Suicice
About 1100 students in US suicice & 24000 students intend to suicise because of stress

Concentrating problem
Worse study
Possitive effects:
Help people motivated
Develop & restore memory

IV. Ways of reducing stress
Do something relaxes:
Breathe deeply and slowly
Go for walk
Listen to music, karaoke
Read books
Go shopping
It helps our blood circulate and makes more energy.
Have hobbies or take up a new hobby :
Cooking
Swimming
Skiing
Learn to accept things that you can not change:
Don’t try to control the uncontrollable things
Learn to forgive: “To err is human”
Think positively
Manage time and money for yourself wisely
Make a daily and weekly timetable and try to do it
Use money carefully
Sleep
Take a nap and get 8 hours of sleep each night
Have a healthy and balanced diet
Do exercise regularly
Walking
Aerobic
Yoga
- Share problems with family and friends
- Talk to doctor
Keep a sense of humor and always smile
CONCLUSION
