1. BOTH + Noun1 AND + Noun2 + Verb in plural form
2. EITHER + Noun1 + OR + Noun2 + Verb in plural form if Noun2
is in plural form.
3. (N)EITHER + Noun1 + (N)OR + Noun2 + VERB in singular form if Noun2 is in singular form
e.g. Both he and I are students at this school.
e.g. Either he or you have to come here this afternoon.
e.g. Either you or he has to come here this afternoon.
REMEMBER !
“BOTH…AND…” is NEVER used in the negative form.
