TYPES OF COMPANIES

_private limited company_
A joint-stock company that cannot offer shares to the public. The owners can only raise capital from family members, friends, banks and venture capital institutions.

2. _public limited company_ (plc.)
A successful, established company that is allowed to offer its shares for
Sale on the stock market.

3. _general partnership_
Each partner in the company is responsible for the company’s debts.

4. _limited partnership_ Ltd
A company where one or more general partners have unlimited liability
For the debts of the company, and silent partners only offer capital.

5. _sole trader_
The simplest form of business, a shop or a store owned by a single
Person.
