1. Relative pronoun is used as a SUBJECT in relative clauses:
E.g.

2. Relative pronoun is used as an OBJECT in relative clauses:
E.g.
The footballer is David Beckham. You have just seen him on the screen.

3. Omission of relative pronouns in relative clauses.
Ex:

Notes:
We can omit the relative pronoun when it is the OBJECT of a defining relative clause.
