Gong culture
The gong culture sees Gongs as a privileged connection between men and the supernatural, where each gong houses a god whose power corresponds to the Gong`s age.
Space of Gong Culture in the Central Highlands of Vietnam was recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity on January 15, 2005.
Epic Highlands


The Central Highlands is known as the cradle of the Vietnamese epic with over 20 epics of different tribes, especially "Dam San" of the Ede ethnic group.
Festival culture
The festival is one of the factors contributing an important part in the culture of the Central Highlands. The festivals with unique colors not only contain many quintessence of each village`s culture but also represent the spiritual strength of the people here.
3. People
The region is really a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural area where 47 ethnic groups (Ba Na, Gia Rai, E De, Co Ho …) live in harmony with each other. Vietnamese people often call these groups as ethnic minority groups or “Thuong people” -people who live in the highlands or mountainous regions. 
4. Tourist attractions
Lak Lake
As regards Dak Lak, Lak Lake is often described – one of the largest natural freshwater lakes linked to Krong Ana River. It is a remarkable eco-tourism destination for both domestic and foreign visitors, with romantic natural scenery of nearby mountains and forests. Apart from natural scenery, fresh air and experiences on the back of elephants, wooden boats with excursions to discover culture and character of M`nong villagers.
Dray Nur Waterfall

It is famous for its purity and its amazing legends. Dray Nur, in local language, means a female or a female waterfall. From afar, Dray Nur provides a stunning view: a strong surge of water cascaded through rock face until it falls into the pool below.
Entrance fee: 50,000 VND
Opening time:8:00 – 17:00
Note: Not recommended for families having children under 12 years old
Ako Dhong Eden Village

This region is renowned for its wealth. The area was set up with featured Ede ethnic group longhouses and a vibrant green landscape all around. In addition, timber construction of houses and gardens that surround them provides balance with lush, green fields. As well as preserving local way of life, the village also retains local customs and traditional crafts such as weaving or brocade.
*Things to do & see:
- Visiting botanical gardens & Cat Tien jungle
- Joining nightlife tour -rent a bike or stroll to see wildlife and visit spots where ethnic minorities live,
- Reach Bau Sau- go sightseeing, trekking through jungle, sail across lake and watch crocodiles swim ilagoon,...
*Best time to go: From December to May
 
Cat Tien National Park

Kon Tum
Kontum Wooden Church- unique architecture and design that blends typical Vietnamese architecture with local architecture
Chu Mom Ray National Park- a great ecosystem of nature and traditional ethnic communities of Highland Minorities,..
The park covers a wide area of 115,000 hectares of protected woodland that looks wild, enchanting and alive with wildlife.
Moreover, it is home to several rare and endangered species and hundreds of colorful bird species. There are also four ethnic minority villages within the park, three of which can be reached by one of the guides.
