Task 2. Match the rules with the appropriate reasons
The most important rule in my family is that we should visit our grandparents at least once a week. We live about 10 km away, and my parents want us to have a closer relationship with our grandparents by visiting them regularly and making sure that they are not lonely.
Example:
The first important rule in our family is that everyone should respect the elderly.
- We live with our grandparents, so we always greet them when we go out or come back home.
- It is necessary to invite them to eat before each meal.
- We have to use polite language when talking to our grandparents and parents.
Another rule we have to follow is that my sister and I have to help around with the housework.
- We do suitable chores according to our age.
- It`s important that we share housework willingly.
The third essential rule is that we need to take our studies seriously.
- We have to do our homework and revise the old lessons.
- My sister and I are asked to self study for one hour every day.
- We can learn any subject we like during this time.
