VSTEP SPEAKING Part II
In Vstep (CB2) speaking part 2, there are three subparts:
1/ Paraphrasing (Diễn giải lại 3 lựa chọn).
2/ Discuss the disadvantages of the other choices and then discuss the advantages of the item you choose. (Thảo luận những bất lợi của 2 mục đầu và sự thuận lợi của ý mình chọn).
3/ Confirm your choice. (Khẳng định ý mình chọn)



FORMAT
Well, before I have to choose among three options: …………………., let’s talk about all of them.
Firstly, …...
Secondly, …...
Finally, …...
For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose …... as the best choice for me.
Situation 7: Your cousin is the best student of the class this year. Her parents are thinking about a present, and there are three options: a laptop, a holiday, or some money. Which option would you suggest her?
Answer:
Well, before I have to choose among three options: a laptop, a holiday or some money for my cousin, let’s talk about all of them.









Firstly, I don’t choose a laptop because I believe it may distract her study. She may play a lot of games and she may learn badly.
Secondly, if she is given money, she will spend all of it soon. Then she will have a bad habit of spending money.
Lastly, travel widens the mind. She is able to integrate in cultural activities, traditions and local customs of places where she wants to go.
For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose a holiday as the best choice for her.
