VSTEP SPEAKING Part II
In Vstep (CB2) speaking part 2, there are three subparts:
1/ Paraphrasing (Diễn giải lại 3 lựa chọn).
2/ Discuss the disadvantages of the other choices and then discuss the advantages of the item you choose. (Thảo luận những bất lợi của 2 mục đầu và sự thuận lợi của ý mình chọn).
3/ Confirm your choice. (Khẳng định ý mình chọn)



FORMAT
Well, before I have to choose among three options: …………………., let’s talk about all of them.
Firstly, …...
Secondly, …...
Finally, …...
For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose …... as the best choice for me.
Situation 8: You are considering a birthday present for a friend. A clothing item, a book, a pair of tickets.
Answer:
Well, before I have to choose among three options: a clothing item, a book, a pair of tickets for my friend, let’s talk about all of them.
Firstly, if she is given a pair of tickets, she will not get any knowledge. She is studious; therefore, she is busy and she does not have time to go to the cinema or theatre.









Secondly, if she is given a clothing item, she will not be interested in it because she does not like fashion.
Finally, I think that a book is the best choice. My friend is good at literature, so I believe that she has a great passion about books. She and I have an interest in reading books in common.
For all reasons I put above, I’ll choose a book as the best choice for her. It can widen her knowledge.
