* Cách dùng: - Một hành động bắt đầu trong quá khứ, kéo dài đến hiện tại và có thể tiếp
tục trong tương lai.
Eg: My father has worked in this company for 10 years.
- Một hành động vừa mới xảy ra, hay hoàn tất (kết quả còn lưu lại đến hiện tại).
Eg: She has just gone out
- Dùng với cấu trúc so sánh hơn nhất.
Eg: This is the most beautiful girl that I have ever seen.
- Dùng với cấu trúc câu:
It/This + is + the first/second.. + time + mệnh đề (HTHT)
Eg: This is the first time I have been to Ha Long City.
