CONDITIONAL SENTENCES TYPE 2
Form: should (not) + V
Usage:
Giving advices, opinions
Ex: If I were you, I would give up smoking.
Showing expectation or probability
Ex: He’s a good student. He should pass the exam easily.
Practice
Practice using SHOULD
Give appropriate responds to the following sentences:
I have an exam tomorrow.
Someone has stolen my wallet.
John is always late for work.
The children are terribly overweight.
She’s having a flu.
Our train will leave in a few minutes.
Form:
If S +V (past simple), S’ + would +V’
Usage:
Showing unreal conditions (present time)
Ex: If I were you, I would give up smoking.

Answer the question with conditional statement of Type 2:
