Listen and repeat:

A- Will vs. Going to:
Study these examples:
a)A: Why are you turning on the television?
B: I’m going to watch the news.
b) A: Oh, I haven’t got any money with me.
B: Don’t worry. I will lend you some.
Can you distinguish the differences between “going to…” and “will” in these sentences?
- “Going to + V” in (a) expresses present intention: Diễn tả ý định…
- “Will + V” in (b) expresses an offer: diễn đạt sự tự nguyện


Now think of the other uses of “going to + v” and “will + V” and complete the following sentences.

II- Will: Making prediction (diễn đạt sự đoán trước)
Study these sentences:

*(Will is used to make prediction especially after I think/ I hope and Perhaps)

Son: I’ll answer it.
