Notes:
+ Relative pronouns of defining relative clause “who, whom, which, that” can be omitted when they are objects of the verb.
+ But we can’t omit:
a. Relative pronouns after a comma (in a non-defining relative clause).
b. Relative pronouns after a preposition.
c. “Who, which, that” as a subject.
Examples:
a. Dam Vinh Hung, who sings very well, is a famous singer.
b. The house in which he lives is very old.
c. The diamond ring which/ that is bought by Mary is expensive.
Exercise 1: Complete each of the following sentences, using a suitable sentence in the box to make a relative clause without a relative pronoun.



Find the mistakes in the following sentences and correct them.
1. Are these the keys for which you are looking?

3. This puppy, that my grandfather gave me on my birthday, is 9 months old.
