WELCOME TO OUR CLASS
GAME: GUESSING WORD
Rules: - The class will be divided into two teams.
- Each team will choose one representative in front of the class, the teacher will give the vocabulary and the team members have to explain to the representative to guess the word.
- Each team will raise their hands to explain and each turn is suggested 3 sentences. 1 minute for 1 word.
- If the representative can say the word correctly, that team will get 1 mark.

1. Match the words and phrases with their meanings below. Work in pairs.

1. Read the text and choose the correct verb form.
Mrs Hang is a house wife. Every day , she (1) does/ is doing most of the housework. She (2) cooks/ is cooking, washes the clothes and (3) cleans/ is cleaning the house. But today is Mother’s Day and Mrs Hang isn’t doing any housework. Her husband and her children are doing it all for her. At the moment, she (4) watches/ is watching her favourite programme on TV. What is the present simple used?
-> The present simple is used to talk about daily habits and routines.
What is the present continuous used?
-> The present continuous is used to talk about something that is happening or not happening at the moment of speaking.
Ex: My brother cleans the house every day.
Ex: I’m learning English now.
