I. Before you read
“If you give me a fish
I will eat today
If you teach me to fish
I will eat my whole life long.”
Read the following saying:
What does this saying mean? (Choose the right option)
A. If you just give someone to eat, they will not feel hungry any more but this will not last long. If someone gives you an opportunity to work or teaches you how to work, you will earn your own living for a long time.

I have participated in a volunteer organization that helps provide the meals to the poor in a slum. They all are old and have poor living conditions. I find my work a little bit helpful and I am going to continue this kind of work, surely.
