GLOBAL WARMING
GLOBAL RESPONSIBILITY
Welcome to the presentation
NATURE
Excessive emissions of methane in excess of the permissible limit from the Arctic and wet lands.
Volcanic eruptions with tons of mass forming ash.
Average warming of the Earth will melt the Antarctic and Arctic ice sheets to reveal permanent carbon dioxit ice.
PEOPLE
Greenhouse gas emissions from factories and vehicles.
Deforestation.
Burn fossil fuels (oil, gas, coal ...) and other gas emissions.
The use of chemical fertilisers.
Misuse plastic use once.
…
CAUSE
RESULT
Change global sea level
Polar ice melting
Flooding and saline intrusion
Drastically change climate models
Average earth temperature increases
This pattern change of rainfall will cause drought in some areas, while floods in other areas
Hot and cold weather, and extreme storms like hurricanes and tornadoes
Extinction of plants and animals spread
Global warming for humans
Impact our water and food supply as well as our medical conditions
Changes in rainfall will affect basic needs such as agriculture and electricity production
Infectious diseases will increase to a great extent because the disease insects will adapt to humid, hot conditions
WE SHOULD TAKE ACTION!
Turn off electrical devices you`re not using, walk or use your bike if your journey is short, and save water when you take a bath or do the washing. We`ve all heard the advice given by scientists and environmental groups, but these above are simple things that you don`t need to work for any environmental protection organisations to know what to do.
Thank you for lisening
