Present perfect tense
Form
S + have/has + V(ed), PP.
S+ have/has +not + V( ed),PP
Have/has + S + V(ed),PP + ?
...... Since + point of time
....... For + period of time
The present perfect with “already, yet”
Already :
is used in affirmative sentences.
Position: between auxiliary and main verbs.
Yet: is used in the negative and question sentences.
Example
Have you seen GiacLam Pagoda yet?
Yes, I’ve already seen it.
Have you eaten Vietnamese food yet?
B. No, I haven’t
The present perfect with “ever “
Form : Have/has + ever + Ved, PP
Example:
A. Have you ever read a comic ?
B. Yes, I have.
A. When did you see it?
B. This morning
A. Have you ever been to Singapore?
B. No, I haven’t
Passive form
1. S+ be+ V (ed,pp)
2. S+ was / were + V (ed,pp)
3. S+ have/ has +been +V (ed,pp)
4. S+ had + been + V ( ed,pp)
5. S + be + being + V ( ed, pp)
6. S + was / were + being + V (ed,pp)
*passive form with “ modal verbs”
S + be + V ( ed, pp).
* Verb – to infinitive:
S + V- to infinitive + be + V ( ed, pp)
Example:
1. They sell jeans allover the world
Jeans are sold all over the world.
2. You must be do this exercise carefully
This exercise must be done carefully

Change these sentencs into passive with the same meaning
They made jean cloths completely from cotton in the 18 th century.
