I. Modals: May and Might
1. Examples:
It might rain tonight. It may rain tonight.
It may be a book or it might be a game.
You may park here.
You may not smoke here.
2. Forms: S + may / might (not) + V
3. Uses:
- We use may/ might to say that something is possible at present or
in the future. However, Might is less possible than May.
- We use may to say that something we have permission to do. We
do not use might in this case.

Find the mistake in each sentence.

II. Reported speech: questions
Những thay đổi khi chuyển đổi lời nói trực tiếp sang lời nói gián tiếp.
1. Lùi thì của động từ.
2. Thay đổi đại từ, tính từ sở hữu ở ngôi 1 và ngôi thứ 2.
3. Thay đổi những từ ngữ chỉ không gian và thời gian.

1. Report a Yes/No question.
Examples:

Nam said to me, “Are you busy now?”
Nam asked me If/ whether I was busy then.
“Did you see a UFO?” Mr. Tuan asked her.
Mr. Tuan asked her If she had seen a UFO.
Structure:

S + asked + (O) + if/ whether + S + V (Lùi thì)

2. Report a Wh-question.
Examples:

Miss Nga asked me what I was doing then.
“What exactly did you see yesterday?” Mr. Nam asked us.

“How old will you be next year, Nga?” he asked.
