The 22nd SEA Games were held in Vietnam from the 5th to 13th November, 2003

444 gold medals were won at the SEA Games.
The Vietnamese Women’s Football team successfully did.
Because Vietnam carried out an intensive programme for its athletes to prepare for the Games and the Vietnamese athletes competed in high spirits with the strong support of their countrymen.

The emblem:
the representation of Chim Lac, was decorated by 3 colors: blue symbolizes aquatic sports, green represents athletic sports and red is the winning spirit.
22nd SEA Games were held in Vietnam from 5th to 13th of December, 2003.
This was the first time Vietnam hosted a SEA Games event. The SEA Games opening Ceremony took place at My Dinh national stadium, Hanoi.
