Cuc Phuong National Park is a nature reserve, wide SUF 222km2, located on the territory of the three provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa. It has a rich flora and fauna, characterized by diverse tropical rainforest.
Cuc Phuong also has diverse fauna, including 97 species of mammals (including most notably the Asian apes), 137 birds, 76 reptiles, 46 amphibians, 11 species of fish and thousands of species insects, many species in the red Data Book of Vietnam.
