PROJECT : THE LUNAR NEW YEAR

In Viet Nam, there are a lot of festivals, such as: Mid-Autumn Festival, Huong Pagoda Festival and etc.
Among them, Lunar New Year is the most popular and important holiday in these traditional festivals.
Vietnamese people need prepare carefully to welcome New Year.
At that time, everyone is busy because they buy some necessary items, such as: clothes, flower pots, sweets, cookies, ginger jam and etc.
Sometimes, people can cook Chung cake or Tet Cake at home.
Before Tet, they should decorate their houses to make them look beautiful at Tet.
On the last day of the year, people always have family gatherings.
At mid-night, most people go downtown to watch fireworks.
On the first day of Tet, they often visit their relatives.
Children receive red envelopes containing money from their elders.
These days, people enjoy many interesting traditional games.
I really like Tet because it’s the time for family gatherings.
