Practise these sentences

Grammar. The past perfect tense
Form (Công thức)
KD: S + had + V3/ ed
PD: S + hadn’t + V3/ed
NV: Had + S + V3/ed ?
Usage: (cách dùng)
- Used to indicate an action that happens before another action in the past
- Used to describe an action before a point of time in the past.
Signal:
Until then, by the time, prior to that time, before, after, for, as soon as, by, ...
Before, after, when by, by the time, by the end of + time in the past …
Eg.
When I got up this morning, my father had already left.
By the time I met you, I had worked in that company for five years.
Grammar. The past perfect tense
