Hello my name is Anh Tu. The
following is our group 3
presentation on visual pollution.
• Nowadays visual pollution: In the city it is usually caused
by billboards, tangled power lines, landfills and tall
buildings In the countryside it is mainly due to blind bones
and storms.
• And it's mostly man-made. For example, when walking on
the road, we can see a lot of billboards of shops or
restaurants placed on the roadside or sidewalk, which can
make us unable to see the road and get into traffic
accidents. In rural areas, which are now in the
development stage, all houses have antennas, and on
village roads, large and cement pillars are now installed to
connect electricity to the village. In some undeveloped
countries, it is still difficult to dispose of garbage, so they
burn garbage to reduce the amount of waste and because
of this, it causes visual pollution. And the consequences
are huge. When traveling on the road, there are a lot of
cars and motorbikes along with blind bones that create
pollution, if people do not look carefully, there may be an
accident. When the eyes are exposed to this visual
pollution too much, it can cause eye fatigue and myopia.
Consequences of visual pollution
“
To overcome this situation we must: firstly, reduce the number of
billboards and build at a certain height. The second is to try not to use
plastic bags and buy things that are not packaged in plastic or plastic
containers. The third is to replace cars with bicycles when going to
nearby places, explaining to students about visual pollution and its
consequences. The fourth is to only build buildings that match the
surrounding environment, avoid building too high and too colorful
buildings, only build offices that match the scenery of the city.
