TASK 1:
Example:
I think Hoa looks more beatiful with that new hairstyle
_ Agree : I agree with you
_Disagree: I don’t think so. I think she looks terrible.

Task 1: The following are some phrases that can be used to express agreement or disagreement. Put (A) beside an expression of agreement and (D) beside an expression of disagreement
____ 1. I quite agree with you.
____ 2. That’s a good idea, but….
____ 3. Great!
____ 4. I can’t agree with you more.
____ 5. I don’t think that’s a good idea.
____ 6. Yes, let’s do that.
____ 7. That’s a good idea.
Task 1: The following are some phrases that can be used to express agreement or disagreement. Put (A) beside an expression of agreement and (D) beside an expression of disagreement

Agreement (A):
_I quite agree with you.
_Great!
_ I can’t agree with you more.
_ Yes, let’s do that.
_ That’s a good idea.

Disagreement (D):
_That’s a good idea, but….

_ I don’t think that’s a good idea.

Expressing agreement and disagreement:
Agreement (A):
For sure
You are exactly right
Disagreement (D):
That’s not a good idea.
I respect your opinion, but…..
I don’t think so.
I don’t see it that way
You could be right, but….
SITUATIONS:Expressing agreement and disagreement

1._You: In my opinion, the weather in Hue is getting better and better
_ Your friend :……………………………….
2._ You: It seems to me that studying late at nigh is more effective than in the daytime.
_ Your friend :……………………………..
TASK 2: The students of class 11A2 will have a two-day holiday. They are discussing whether they should go on a camping holiday.Read and practise the conversation
A: Let’s go camping.
B: Yes, let’s do that. Then we can rest and enjoy ourselves in the quite countryside.
C: Oh, I don’t thik it’s a good idea. If we go camping, we’ll have to bring a lot of equipment with us
Some phrase (A) and (D):
(A): Yes, let’s do that.
(D): I don’t think it’s a good idea.
Task 3: Work in groups. Imagine you are the students of class 11A2. Continue the discussion. Express agreement or disagreement, using the reasons below
Reasons for agreeing:
1. can enjoy spectacular scenery.
2. can have a lot of outdoor activities.
3. can get close to nature
4. can enjoy the trees, flowers and the wildlife.
5. can become more active.

Reasons for disagreeing:
1. have to bring a lot of equipment and supples which are quite heavy.
2. have to eat bread for two days, which is not very pleasant.
3. have to hire a coach, which costs a lot of money.
4. have to sleep in a tent, the weather might be bad.
CONSOLIDATION
