II. Grammar: Cleft Sentences ( in active voice)
Form:
It + be + phrase + Relative Clause
Meaning: This is called Cleft Sentence because the original sentence have been divided (or cleft) into two clauses, It + be + Phrase and Relative clause.
Use: Cleft sentence are used to focus on one particular part of the original sentence, except Verb.
