*Khi một động từ được sử dụng như là chủ ngữ, nó có 2 dạng: infinitive with ‘’to’’ or “-ing’’ gerund.
Eg: “To speak English to a native speaker makes you more interested in learning English.’’
or: “Speaking English to a native speaker makes you more interested in learning English’’








Task 2:Work in pairs. A student is talking to her friend about one of her past experiences and how it affected her. The lines in their conversation are jumbled. Put them in the correct order, then practise the dialogue.










Task 2:
a) I was walking along Trang Tien Street when an English girl came up to me and asked me the way to Hoan Kiem Lake. I told her, then we started talking about the lake.
b) Have you ever spoken English to a native speaker?

d) Yes. I talked to an English girl last summer.

f) Well, it made me more interested in learning English.

Task 2:
A: Have you ever spoken English to a native speaker?
B: Yes. I talked to an English girl last summer.

Notes:

*Present perfect: sử dụng với “’ever’’ để nói về trải nghiệm trong quá khứ.
Eg : “ Have you ever been to Nha Trang?”

*Past simple: được sử dụng khi người đó tiếp tục hỏi về trải nghiệm đó.
Eg : When did you go there ?
Who did you go with?
Did you enjoy your visit to Nha Trang?
