Activity 2: Modeling the text:
To celebrate Teachers’ Day, our school’s Sports Club recently played a friendly match with Phan Boi Chau high school’s football team. The match was held at 2.30p.m on 8th January on our school playground.
The match took place in wonderful weather. In the first half, both teams played excitingly but no goal was scored .In the first fifteen minutes of the second half, the players tried to keep the ball away from the goal. At the 30th minute of the match, by a combination of passing and dribbling, a striker of the visiting scored the first goal . A few minutes later, our goalkeeper saved a shot at close range . Suddenly, At the 89th minute of the match, at the spot of 30 metres away from the goal, Hung an excellent defender of the home team gave a shot straight into the goal. The goal was so fine that all the spectators jumped up and cheered
The score was 1-1 but all of us felt happy . I was very proud of our school’s football team.

