Cuc Phuong Natinal park is opened in 1960. It is about 160 km southwest of Hanoi. It has 2oo square kilometres. In Cuc Phuong National Park, there are about 2,000 different species of flora and 450 species of fauna. It has many caves. Quen Voi, also part of the part, is the place where Nguyen Hue’s army stationed before they made its surprise attack on Thang Long and defeated the Qing invaders in the spring of 1789.
