The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), founded in 1948, is the United Nations specialized funds for children all over the world. Its headquarters is in New York, USA. UNICEF’s aims are to advocate for the protection of children’s rights, to help meet their basic needs and help them reach full potential. Its main activities are providing supports and funds for the most disadvantaged children - victims of war, disasters and extreme poverty and this organization also carries out education development programs for children .
