2. Look at the picture. Listen to John Keith, a fitness instructor, talking about four types of physical activity. Number the picture as you listen.
3. Listen again. Which safety rules are mentioned for each type of
physical activity? Tick the correct boxes.
a. Health benefits
b. Safety tips mentioned in the talk. Do you agree or disagree with them?
c. Add any additional precautions people may need to take. Examples:
-Don’t do it after eating a full meal.
-You need the instructions from a qualified coach.
-Never do it alone.
-Don’t do it if you are feeling unwell.
4. Work in groups. Each group chooses a different activity from 3. Discuss the following:
Group 1 and 2: Talk about some benefits and precautions of swimming or yoga
Group 3 and 4: Talk about some benefits and precautions of aerobic exercise or fitness walking
