“ Play ” và “ Goes” là những động từ ở
thì hiện tại đơn.
Thì hiện tại đơn được dùng để nói
về các hành động mà thường xảy ra,
mang tính cố định, bền vững.

Verb form of the tense
1. Thể khẳng định.
I like music
We like music
You like music
They like music

He likes music
She likes music
It likes music
Minh likes music

Ghi nhớ :
Chỉ động từ đi với các ngôi thứ 3 số ít
như : he, she, It thì ta mới thêm “S” vào
động từ. Nếu động từ kết thúc bằng
o, s, ch ,sh, x thì ta thêm “ES” vào động
từ.
Ví dụ : go – goes , miss - misses

2. Thể phủ định
I don't like coffee.
We don't like coffee.
You don't like coffee
They don't like coffee

He doesn't like coffee
She doesn't like coffee
It doesn't like coffee
Minh doesn't like coffee

Don't / Doesn't + inf (động từ nguyên mẫu,
không thêm s, es )

3. Thể nghi vấn
Example :

Do you play sports ? ( Yes, I do / No, I don't )
Does he play sports ? (Yes,he does / No,he doesn't )

Do / Does + S (chủ ngữ)+ inf… ?

trước động từ chính trong câu.
