Activity 1: Read this conversation between two
friends. Then practice it with a partner.
1. Read silently
2. Practice speaking in pairs.
3. Answer some questions about their talk.
- They can explore the mysterious hiking paths,watch the birds and look at the plants. They also spend a night at an old villa
1.Where are Peter and his friends going?

2. What are they going to do there?
3. What else will they do when they have more time?
If they have more time, they “ll visit Hue and enjoy the
local food there
Activity 2: Below are three destinations for ecotourists.
Work in pairs. Choose one destination and make a similar
conservation as in 1.
* Model:
- Hoa: Hi, Mai. I’m thinking about going on an eco tour
to a National Park next weekend.
- Mai: Really? Where are you going? Which park?
- Hoa: Tam dao National Park. I think, that is the most
beautiful place I have never come.
- Mai: Oh, What are you going to see or do there?
- Hoa: We can visit the Bear Rescue Center, walk
through pine forests, visit Thien Vien Truc Lam
Tay Thien or climb Tam Dao mountain.
Mai: How long does the tour last? How much
does it cost?
- Hoa: 1 or 2 days, and about 600,000 VND for aldult
Activity 3: Work in groups. Choose one ecotourism
destination in Viet Nam and prepare a presentation
about what tourists can see and do there.
Then report to other groups.
