Activity: Complete the phrase
Let's play!

How to play:
- Write the first two words of each phrase on the board.
(use the first word for the phrase “tidy up”)
- Ask students to say the complete phrase. Ex: write “hold
up….” and students say “your drawing”.
- Give a point to each correct answer.
- Encourage the whole class to repeat the phrase.
- Continue with all the phrases.

- Say and do the action in the example sentence.
- Tell students to stand up. Say the action, and students listen and do. Ex: take out a pencil, hold up
a drawing, put away a pencil, put up their hands, put down their hands.
- Divide students into pairs. One student says the action, and one student does the action.

Activity: Make Your Booklet
Let's play!

How to play:
- Hand out three sheets of A4 paper to each student.
- Students fold sheets of paper together to make a
booklet. They draw and write the new classroom
language from page 3 in Pupils' book on each sheet.
- They practice these classroom languages with their
partners.
