* Động từ “to be” (am, is, are, …) không diễn đạt hành động mà dùng để kết nối chủ ngữ và các thành phần khác trong câu khi miêu tả đặc điểm, giới thiệu đồ vật, sự việc, nêu trạng thái nơi chốn…nên được gọi là động từ liên kết (liking verb).Nó cũng được chia ở một số thì như các động từ thường.
Cách chia động từ “to be”
